"
What a shining example you are to all victims of assault"
Maureen Flanagan-Cox
Taking stock of her life after brain trauma, Donna made a conscious decision to begin living her life to the full. A lot of the time this is easier said than done, but she won't be beaten by circumstance. Physical trauma has left its mark. Donna is registered disabled and has been left psychologically scarred. Through determination and resilience Donna now strives and claims to have become a better version of herself.
Both Lost Soul and Soul Searching share her story but in differing levels. Lost Soul has a more gentle (and at times humorous) approach to the healing process, whereas Soul Searching delves deeper. Both books are aimed at helping others strive through their adversity through Donna's lived experiences combined with her psychological knowledge.
