LIVING WITH EPILEPSY:
AND EMBRACING DIFFERENCE
Donna has been journaling her experiences living with the consequences of brain trauma and all that comes with it. Seizures have had a large impact on her life since being assaulted back in April 2014. She hadn't experienced them before that date. Having been told they were due to her psychological reaction to trauma, to her talking therapies and were part of her PTSD in relation to remembering parts of her attack, Donna was told that her 'episodes' would eventually go. Several neurologists were responsible for this advice.
They were terribly wrong.
Now with a diagnosis of epilepsy Donna shares her story, and more importantly, her knowledge on this much misunderstood disease of the brain.
Her new book "LIVING WITH EPILEPSY: And Embracing Difference" will be out soon.
